- RAFT (The Restoration of Appearance and Function Trust) - RAFT is an independent registered charity carrying out pioneering research into practical and affordable ways to save and repair skin.Around the world, the lives of hundreds of thousands of people are affected by skin disfiguring illnesses and damage such as burns, wounds and skin cancer. RAFT is here to help them.
- The Counselling Directory – “The purpose of the site is ultimately to provide the UK with a huge counselling support network, enabling those in distress to find a counsellor close to them and appropriate for their needs. This is a free, confidential service that will hopefully encourage those in distress to seek help. The website also contains a number of sections on emotional disorders (types of distress section) and provides some useful statistics. Every counsellor on the site who has submitted their profile has either sent a copy of their qualifications and insurance cover to us, or is registered with a professional body online with recognised codes of ethics and practice, this way we can be assured of their professionalism.”

- British Rowing/Adaptive Rowing - Rowing for People with a Disability: Adaptive rowing is rowing for persons with a disability and is about removing barriers to participation in the sport for anyone who has a physical, sensory or learning impairment.
- Lincolnshire Sitting Volleyball - The Lincolnshire arm of Sitting Volleyball. This is a wonderful sport and is pretty much unique in that it can be played across the able-bodied/disabled spectrum and by mixed sex teams. It is a great sport for amputees. It is supported by Volleyball England and Great Britain will be fielding a team at the Paralympic Games this year. We will be adding the National Link in due course but for now you can find out more by contacting the Lincolnshire Branch who will be able to tell you if there’s a branch in your area.

- The Scottish Disability Golf Partnership - (SDGP) – “The Scottish Disability Golf Partnership is governed and operated by disabled people and is the only group in Scotland which actively encourages and involves anyone of any age, with a disability, serious health problem or mobility issue and their coaches, who wish to play golf and includes amputees, the blind, deaf, those with learning difficulties, downs syndrome, stroke and heart attack victims, wheelchair users and anyone with other similar issues, who wish to learn or play the sport.”
