Exercise

Exercise is very important for amputees, both to build strength to help the rest of the body to compensate for the missing limb and to increase fitness to help with physical adaptation. Obviously both these things will, in turn, make it easier for the amputee to live an active and independent life.

In the sub-pages of this section you will find helpful exercises both body-specific and general.
