Today Phil Packer who suffered severe spinal cord injuries in 2008 and has gone on to raise an amazing £1.3 million for charity, announced his plans to walk the Virgin London Marathon to support 26 charities. TheDouglas Bader Foundation is delighted, extremely grateful and very honoured to be one of this truly inspirational man’s chosen charities.

JAILBIRDS from Exmouth and Topsham have helped raise thousands of pounds for charity after successfully completing the 2009 Dartmoor Jailbreak.
George Stone and Joe Douglas, both from Exmouth Community College, walked 30 miles and hitched to Watford and Tunbridge Wells in their quest for ‘freedom’.
