Apologies for Absence
We apologise for the recent absence of the LLIC Website. The Website has been refreshed and we hope you’ll agree that it looks better for it!
Over the next few weeks, we’ll be reorganising, changing and updating the content. This is your Website and, as always, we’d welcome your suggestions as to information, advice and stories, whether personal or general, that you think should be included. We are always looking to improve the service we offer and would appreciate any pointers as to how we can best make this resource work for you.
The LIMB LOSS INFORMATION CENTRE is an online database for people with congenital or acquired limb loss. Input from all charities associated with any aspect of Limb Loss is sought to enable LLIC to provide the broadest spectrum of help, information and advice for amputees and people with limb loss. Please send us details of your services and any events you may be holding. We’ll be happy to publicise them for you.
The LIMB LOSS INFORMATION CENTRE is paid for almost entirely by donations or fund-raising. We’d be delighted to hear from you if you are planning a fund-raising event and are always happy to help and advise.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you’d like more information.
EMAILS: I also apologise if you emailed us and didn’t receive a response. There was a problem with the system and I’m afraid a lot of messages slipped through the net. Please do try again and I assure you that all emails received will be answered. I’m very sorry for any disappointment or frustration caused by a lack of response in the past.
