A New Charity Launches – The On Course Foundation

by wendy

A new charity which has some connections to the Douglas Bader Foundation has recently been launched. David Bickers, Chairman of the Douglas Bader Foundation and John Simpson, founder of The On Course Foundation, first met and became friends when the both worked at IMG. John, who was born with polio, also openly acknowledges the part Sir Douglas Bader played in inspiring him towards achieving his goals both in golf and life.

The On Course Foundation has been created to offer injured men and women (initially from the UK and subsequently from the US), who are retired or still serving in the military, the opportunity to play golf and/or work within the industry not just today but for many years to come.

We are delighted to bring this Foundation to your attention and wish it the best of success.

We will bring you updates of The On Course Foundation’s development and, in the meantime, you can click HERE to download the Press Release to find out more.
