An Update from Team Anglia

Team Anglia GB are proud to announce the appointmnent of Former Manchester City Star Robert Taylor as Director of Football today.

Rob has played at the highest level and is well qualified for this exciting role.  His task will be to develop and Manage the Under 21 Elite squad  and oversee the running and development of Players & Coaches for the Under 16′s & 18′s.

Rob played for Norwich City until 19 Years of age when he then Joined Leighton Orient.  He went on to play for Brentford, Gillingham, Manchester City and Wolves before settling with his family back in Norfolk.

Team Anglia GB Spokesman Simon Johnston said of his appointment, Rob brings quality and experience at the right time in the growth of our projects.  He is a Norfolk bread footballer and resident and his appointment underlines Team Anglia GB’s Commitment to source and promote home grown Regional Talent at all levels and points of career.

EAFA & Team Anglia GB Amputee football Showcase day in association with Optua leisure is set for Saturday 24th July at the Northgate Sports Centre in Ipswich.  Come along and meet the Great Britain heroes who demolished the French 10 – 0 recently in their historic Taked Cup Victory, train with us, take part in matches or just spectate.  we are looking to recruit more players as our sport continues to grow so why not come along and have a try?
