Douglas Bader – Blue Plaque. Some more photographs….

by wendy

We are very grateful to Margaret Biggs, aka Leggz to all who know her from the Limb Loss Information Centre Discussion Forum, for sending us these great photographs of the Blue Plaque unveiling. It was lovely to have her there on the day.

Thank you very much, Leggz. (Who’s the one on the right?!)

  1. hi Wendy, i’m attending Swindon college studying to get hnc in photography. We have been assigned a project about someone who you would consider a hero. — for me thats a ‘no brainer,’ it has to be Sir douglas Bader. I acknowledge there is enough on the internet and in books, but it would be rather special to get obtain those little snippets that will enable me to compile the best possible work I am capable of. My question is, although I am aware how busy you must be, is there any information or even advise you can give me, without me being too intrusive. thank you Paddy.
